McDaniel College
Westminster, MD
From 695 (Baltimore Beltway): 795 towards Westminster. 140 towards Westminster. Left turn onto Englar. Right turn onto Monroe St. Cross over Pennsylvania Avenue into McDaniel College parking lot. Harlow Pool is straight ahead.
From Rte. 70: 27 North into Westminster. Left turn onto Main St. Bear right onto Pennsylvania Avenue. Follow past two sets of bright yellow pedestrian signs. Immediately past second set make left turn into McDaniel College parking lot. Harlow Pool is straight ahead.

Take I-64 East to Exit 255 (Jefferson Ave. - VA-143). Take the VA-143 E exit 255A (Jefferson Ave.). Continue on Jefferson Ave. for about five miles. Turn right on McLawhorne Dr.

Exit Rt. 50 at exit 24, Rt.70 South, Rowe Blvd. At the second traffic light turn left at Taylor Avenue. Stay in the right lane and turn right at the dead end, staying to the right. At the first light, turn right again on King George Street. King George Street will take you to Gate 1 of the Naval Academy. Lejeune Hall is 100 meters past Gate 1 on the left.
Vehicles without Department of Defense identification stickers or authorized temporary pass are not allowed to drive onto the academy’s grounds. You may drop off swimmers at the gate 1 visitor parking area to WALKTHROUGH and then proceed to public parking. The DOWNTOWN GARAGE is a short (avg) 10 min walk to gate 1. Also note parking downtown outside of the garage is either METERED or PERMIT ONLY and with enforcement generally beginning after 10am by the City of Annapolis. Every civilian visitor, over the age of 16, entering the academy should be prepared to show a photograph identification card and have his/her bags searched.
St. Mary's College
St. Mary's, MD
From the Washington Beltway, take Rt. 5 south to Waldorf. Turn left/south on Rt. 235 / Rt. 5 in Waldorf and stay straight on Rt. 235 to Lexington Park. After reaching Lexington Park, you will pass the main gate at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Continue past Lexington Park for six (6) miles and make a right onto Mattapany Road. Go approximately 1.8 miles and turn right onto E. Fisher Rd. Somerset Hall is the large brick building on the right.
You may also take Rt. 4 south from the Washington Beltway to Solomon’s Island. Cross the bridge and proceed to the intersection of Rt. 4 and Rt. 235. Make a left on Rt. 235 south to Lexington Park and follow the highlighted directions to the pool.
From Baltimore take Rt. 301 south to Rt. 4 in Upper Marlboro. Take Rt. 4 south to Solomon’s Island and follow the highlighted directions above.
From Annapolis take Rt. 2/4 south to the intersection in Sunderland. Turn left/south to Solomon’s Island and follow the highlighted directions to the pool.

- Take I-95 North to exit 47 B - 195/166 West
- Take first Exit off 195 West, which will lead you onto the UMBC Campus via
UMBC Boulevard.
- Turn Right onto Hilltop Circle and then Left onto Administration Drive
- The pool is on the right behind the UMBC Field house.
- Parking Lot 10 is in front of the Field house. To reach Parking Lot 1,
continue past Administration Drive, and turn right onto Library Drive, then
left into Lot 1.
